It&#8217;s been celebrated the signing ceremony of the UAM-PEACHES Chair was held between the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma of Madrid (<a title=\"UAM\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uam.es\/uam\/inicio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UAM<\/a>), the Foundation of the UAM (<a title=\"FUAM\" href=\"https:\/\/fuam.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FUAM<\/a>) and Peaches Biotech Group with the goal of promoting research and teaching in the field of\u00a0<strong>Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine,<\/strong>\u00a0particularly in mattersrelated to the development of new drugs for\u00a0<strong>advanced therapies<\/strong>\u00a0and specifically\u00a0<strong>mesenchymal stem cells derived from adipose tissues and their production capacity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Chair, directed by professors Dami\u00e1n Garc\u00eda Olmo and Mariano Garc\u00eda Arranz, is linked to the Department of Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine of the UAM.<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by the Autonomous University of Madrid, F\u00e9lix Zamora, Vice Chancellor for Innovation and Culture; Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Seoane, general director of the FUAM; Carlos F\u00e9lix S\u00e1nchez, dean of the Faculty of Medicine; professors Dami\u00e1n Garc\u00eda and Mariano Garc\u00eda, co-directors of the Chair and Iv\u00e1n Manzanares, technical director of CAITEC, FUAM.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of the Peaches Biotech Group, Juan Carlos de Gregorio Santos, CEO, and Juan Pedro Lapuente Fern\u00e1ndez, CSO, attended.<\/p>\n<p>Among the activities of the chair, the exchange of research experiences and knowledge between Peaches Biotech professionals and the professors and researchers of the Autonomous University of Madrid, interested in said exchange, is pursued, as well as carrying out postgraduate teaching activities related to Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>The UAM-Entity Chairs are a form of collaboration between the University and one or more companies or institutions that agree to collaborate in the development of teaching and research activities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have created with the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma of Madrid (UAM) and its Foundation (FUSM) the first University Chair in Advanced Therapies based on cell secretomes The UAM-Peaches Chair will promote research and teaching in the areas of Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine The progress achieved within the framework of the University Chair will benefit researchers [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":1686,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","_themeisle_gutenberg_block_has_review":false},"categories":[45,43],"tags":[56],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.10 -
